The University of Haifa recently completed the installation of new gifts of art from the estate of Prof. Avraham Kampf (1920–2016) at multiple locations on the Mt. Carmel campus. The Kampf collection includes additional works of art by Yaacov Dorchin, Grisha Bruskin, Regina Heim, Ahmad Knaan, and
other Jewish artists.
Avraham Kampf, a distinguished art historian, scholar of modern and
Jewish art, curator, author, educator, and beloved professor, founded
the University’s Department of Fine Arts at the Faculty of Humanities.
