New International Desks Boost Presence
Around the Globe
The University of Haifa is expanding its global footprint in Europe, Latin America, and Asia with the opening of four new international desks, a move initiated by Prof. Dan Tchernov, Vice-President of Development and External Relations. “We are pleased to announce that we have expanded our activities to Hong Kong, strengthened our presence in Western Europe, and intensified our outreach to Spanish- and Russian-speaking communities on a global scale,” noted Tchernov. Our aim is to cultivate relationships and expand our fundraising base in strategic geographic areas where we have previously had minimal representation, and to serve as a point of liaison for the promotion of scientific initiatives and partnerships.”
